Quick-start guide

Get Ondasend running in minutes. Follow the steps below — from install to your first campaign and automation.

  1. Step 1: Install Ondasend

    In the Shopify App Store, click Add app and approve the install. In seconds, Ondasend shows up in the Apps menu of your Shopify admin.

  2. Step 2: Connect your store and confirm your sending domain

    When you open the app, go to Settings and confirm your email sending domain. Add the suggested DKIM records to your DNS — this keeps your emails landing in the inbox, not spam.

  3. Step 3: Create your first email campaign

    In Campaigns → Create campaign, pick a template, edit the content in the visual editor (text, images, buttons and product blocks) and choose the segment that will receive it.

  4. Step 4: Send a test email

    Before sending, click Send test and enter your email. Check on mobile and desktop how the message arrives — subject, layout and links — and tweak as needed.

  5. Step 5: Turn on abandoned-cart recovery

    In Automations, turn on cart recovery. Set the wait time and the message (email, WhatsApp or SMS) — Ondasend fires on its own whenever a customer leaves their cart.

  6. Step 6: Create segments

    In Segments, build audiences from behavior and purchase history — VIP customers, who bought in the last 30 days, or who's gone inactive. Use them in your next campaigns and automations.

  7. Step 7: Track results in Analytics

    In the Analytics dashboard, track sends, opens, clicks, conversions and revenue attributed to each campaign and automation in real time.
